This future country superstar is coming to Buffalo, New York

Now that it’s June, the predictions are coming in on which song will be dubbed “the song of the summer,” and we’ll get to hear one of the favorites right here in Buffalo on June 21st!

Maybe we look like we’re 29 Shaboozey, from Woodbridge, Virginia, came out of nowhere. His super catchy song »A bar song (Tipsy)» is certified gold and has exceeded the Billboard Hot Country Songs filed earlier this year, and will likely stream and play non-stop throughout the summer. But in reality, the talented singer-songwriter has been making his presence known for years.

Shaboozey first emerged in 2017 and released two albums on major labels before his latest, Where I’ve been is not where I’m going, was released on May 31. It was featured on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Original Soundtrack in 2018, and more recently, collaborated with pop sensation (and cultural icon) Beyonce on two tracks from his recent country album, Cowboy Carter.

Now Shaboozey is in the spotlight, and it couldn’t be more well deserved. Taste Of Country Nights, heard weeknights from 7 p.m. to midnight on 106.5 WYRK, delirium about his latest album, calling it “journey of authenticity and humility”, and he has made several appearances on national television as CBS Mornings And The Kelly Clarkson Show.
