For an Atlanta couple, an Afrocentric photo showcase in Chattanooga

Kahran and Regis Bethencourt are visual storytellers in every photo they take.

The Atlanta husband and wife duo are the founders of CreativeSoul Photography, specializing in lifestyle photography and photos that capture the authentic beauty and diversity of the African diaspora.

They are the featured artists in this year’s Elizabeth Catlett Visual Art Exhibition, part of the Chattanooga Black Arts and Ideas Festivals.

This Thursday, starting at 6 p.m., they will appear at CHI Memorial Hospital for “Through A Glass Darkly: Black Photography” – the opening reception and artist talk for the exhibition that features their work.
