Kangana Ranaut supports Raveena Tandon after attack: ‘We condemn such outbursts of anger’ | Hindi Movie News

On Sunday, a video circulated online in which a man claimed that Raveena Tandon’s car had hit his mother. Her driver was in the car, after which Raveena came to the driver’s aid and in an intoxicated state started attacking his mother. However, a Mumbai police official has now reported that Raveena’s car did not hit anyone. According to the officer, video footage from around the building where the incident took place showed that women were in close proximity to the actor’s car, but they were not hit. The video showed a group accusing Raveena and her driver of attacking three women.

After this incident, Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Raveena. The actress was appalled by the incident and said, “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposing group, she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage. These people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and malicious behaviour.”



She insisted that action must be taken against these people.

Meanwhile, ETimes has contacted the police to know the full case. However, the police have denied reports of assault and head injury and also clarified that no complaint has been filed in the case. DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told us about the case, “Raveena Tandon’s driver was reversing to park the car and around that time the other party drove past and started shouting ‘gaadi chala rahe hai’ (they are running us over). And nothing happened, the car did not even grazed any of them. They started fighting and Raveena also came out and started fighting with them.”

A source close to the actress told us that Raveena was alone at home with her children and had come only to save her driver who was being abused by them. The police officer added that no complaint was filed by anyone at the police station.
