Five people treated after six-car crash on US 95 near Decatur | Traffic

Five people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Sunday evening on U.S. Highway 95 and South Decatur Boulevard involving six cars, one of which overturned.

According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol website, some lanes on southbound U.S. 95 were closed following the crash, which was reported at 5:01 p.m.

“It was a six-car pileup – a rollover,” said Highway Patrol Officer Shawn Haggstrom. “Five people are being treated at the scene. I haven’t seen anyone transported yet. I’ve heard there’s no life-threatening injuries.”

Vehicles on the southbound side of U.S. 95 near Decatur were diverted from the freeway to side streets, but there was no timeframe for how long traffic would be impacted, Haggstrom said.
