Man arrested for sending sexually explicit images to his daughter

A Jesup man is facing charges in Bulloch County after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to his own daughter over social media. Robert Andrew Groover, 46, of Jesup is charged with sexual exploitation of a child and electronically providing obscene material to a minor, Bulloch County Sheriff’s Deputy Jared Akins said. The 16-year-old victim’s mother reported the incidents on Jan. 30 and filed a report with the sheriff’s office, he said.
