COLUMBIA, Mo. — Two more Missouri football kickoff times are set in advance.

The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced Thursday that the Tigers will play under the lights for their second game of the season and in a new time slot for their third.

Missouri’s home game against Buffalo begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, broadcast on SEC Network+ and ESPN+. MU’s home game against Boston College begins at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, September 14 on the SEC Network.

The latter is an odd time slot compared to the conventional college football schedule, but it’s part of an SEC Network schedule change. The matches broadcast on this channel will start at 11:45 a.m., 3:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. this season.

The game time and broadcast information for Mizzou’s season opener has been pre-set. The Tigers will host Murray State at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, with the SEC Network broadcasting that game.

The opener will again take place on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend, the third year in a row MU begins its season by moving a night game.

Thursday’s announcement also included schedule information for games played outside of the usual Saturday slates. But Mizzou’s regular-season finale against Arkansas was not on the Black Friday schedule, suggesting it will be played the Saturday after Thanksgiving as scheduled.

Other kickoff times – namely when SEC teams will play early – are expected to be announced on June 11.
