Sheriff’s Office says Randolph County deputy and wife killed in traffic accident

A Randolph County Sheriff’s Office deputy and his wife were killed in a traffic accident, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Officials said the accident occurred Wednesday as Deputy John David Garner and his wife Alisha were traveling home from their vacation. Garner retired from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office in 2021 after 22 years of service as a lieutenant.
