Katie Price ‘has vowed to name and shame the celebrity who raped her’ in explosive new book

Katie Price has reportedly vowed to name and shame the celebrity who raped her in an explosive new book.

The former glamor model, 45, claimed in 2009 that she was sexually abused as a young woman by a well-known person.

The reality star previously insisted on not naming the person, but is now said to have changed her mind after the MeToo movement encouraged victims of sexual assault to speak out.

A source told The Sun: “Katie believes now is the right time, she has nothing to lose.”

“After all the me-too stuff, she thinks if other people have revealed their sexual predators, why can’t I do that?”

“She swears this will be her most shocking book ever, and she’s ready to name and shame it all.”

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Katie Price for comment.

Katie admitted in a magazine column that she was “raped by a famous celebrity” – and revealed at the time she had no plans to expose her attacker.

She said: “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I will never name him, I just don’t want any drama.”

“I don’t even know if he knows I was talking about him, I doubt he does.”

Back in 2009, Katie made the shocking claims in response to allegations that her then-boyfriend Alex Reid had starred in a film that glorified rape.

She said in her weekly column for OK! Magazine: “Rape is an issue that is very close to my heart.” When I was younger, I was raped more than once.

“I would never be associated with anything or anyone that sick,” she wrote.

The reality star previously insisted not to name the person, but is now said to have changed her mind following the MeToo movement (pictured in December 2023).
A source said: “Katie believes now is the time, she has nothing to lose. “After all the me-too stuff she thinks if other people have revealed their sexual predators then why can’t I do it ?”

“I’ve never spoken about this before, but I feel like I have to now because I’ve been so hurt by these allegations that I wouldn’t take an issue that affects so many women seriously.”

Before the recording in 2009, Katie also revealed that she and two friends had been sexually abused at the age of six.

Speaking to Piers Morgan, she described how a man lured them into bushes while they were playing in a park and then offered to buy them an ice cream if they let him touch them.

She told readers of her advice column: “I encourage any woman who has been affected by rape and needs help to talk to someone she trusts.”
