New Albany police looking for Andre Edwards Jr.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – New Albany police are searching for a teenager who was last seen swimming in a local creek on Monday.

According to Police Chief Todd Bailey, emergency responders from New Albany and Clarksville, as well as conservation officers from Indiana, were called to Silver Creek near Providence Way around 4 p.m. to search for the teenager.

Witnesses told first responders that 14-year-old Andre Edwards Jr. went under water but did not resurface.
