Signet Farm Services issues statement on fatal accident – LocalNews8.com

IDAHO FALLS (KIFI) – The employer of those involved in a fatal accident last week issued an official statement Saturday evening.

Here is the following statement, received exclusively by Local News 8.

“Here at Signet, we are deeply saddened by the loss of life and injury resulting from a recent car accident in Idaho Falls, Idaho, involving members of our team. We are stunned by the deaths of six of our colleagues and the injuries of nine others.

We have contacted their respective families and expressed our deepest condolences, and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with everyone affected during this extremely difficult time. Abel, Pedro, Brandon, Jose, Luis and Javier were valued members of our team and will be missed. We mourn their loss with their families.

Our top priority at Signet is the safety and well-being of our employees. We are cooperating fully with the Idaho State Police who are conducting the accident investigation. We are also working with the Mexican government to ensure the needs of their citizens are met.

This includes setting up and donating to a GoFundMe page to provide financial support to the 15 affected employees and their families. We will continue to do everything in our power to help those affected and would greatly appreciate further donations via the link below.

All members of the Signet Farm Service team involved were en route to a local construction site to carry out construction work when the accident occurred.

The Signet team was immediately informed of the incident by a phone call from a team member involved in the accident.
