Shooting in downtown Lubbock: 34-year-old dies, no arrests

LUBBOCK, Texas – Lubbock police have identified 34-year-old Jeremy Conde as the victim of Friday afternoon’s fatal shooting in Central Lubbock.

EverythingLubbock.com previously reported that police officers were called to the 2100 block of Avenue O for a shooting and found Conde suffering from a gunshot wound. Conde was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.

According to LPD, Conde was walking past a vehicle when the suspect “fired shots, striking Conde” before driving away. LPD said there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
