Gerald Marin killed, Shari Allimah arrested – NECN

An elderly man was found dead in a home in Litchfield, Maine, last week and a woman was arrested days later on suspicion of murder, police said Friday.

Gerald Marin, 90, was found dead in his Hallowell Road home on Saturday, May 18, after a family member contacted police, Maine State Police said in a statement. The next day, his death was ruled a homicide.

On Wednesday, Shari Allimah, a 55-year-old from Lewiston, was arrested on murder charges, police said. She was already in custody at the Androscoggin County Jail on similar charges.

It was not immediately clear whether she had a lawyer who could comment on her arrest.
