Assault, Damage to Property: Warrington Township Police Report

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Warrington Township Police made the following arrests between May 14 and May 20:

May 14

  • A 52-year-old Warrington woman was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident. At 7:07 p.m., Warrington Police responded to Tabatha Drive on a report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival, the victim told police she was attacked because of an argument with a friend over a rented car. The victim told police that the boyfriend became angry and attacked him when he refused to give him the car keys. The victim told police that he was punched, kicked, shoved and pepper sprayed. The boyfriend left the home with the victim’s keys and wallet, which contained $300. The court issued an arrest warrant and a protective order against abuse. On May 18, the boyfriend returned to the victim’s home, where she was arrested by police. The 52-year-old Warrington woman was arraigned by Judge Snow, who set bail at $35,000. The woman was unable to make bail and was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

10th of May

  • At 10:50 p.m., police responded to a report of property damage at the Westminster Apartments. The victim told police that a 32-year-old Warrington man had scratched his car. The victim reported that the man scrawled racist words on the car and left a long scratch around the majority of the vehicle. Video surveillance showed the man damaging the vehicle. The victim estimated the damage at $3,643.22. The victim also provided video of the man threatening to put a bullet in his skull and calling him a racist slur. The man was arrested on May 21 and arraigned by Judge Wertman. The judge set bail at $10,000 or 10 percent cash. The man was unable to make bail and was taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility. Police have charged the man with terroristic threats, simple assault, property damage and harassment.

17th of May

  • At 6:04 p.m., police responded to Wegmans for a report of a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival, theft deterrents reported that a 48-year-old Doylestown man had left the store without paying for merchandise. The man was found outside the store with $148 worth of merchandise. He was arrested and taken to the station, where he was booked and released. A charge was filed in District Court for another traffic offense.

19 May

  • At 9:45 a.m., police arrested a Huntingdon Valley man for assaulting a Walmart employee. The victim told police he was grabbed and thrown to the ground. The two then began wrestling until they were separated. The victim suffered multiple cuts. The man was arrested, taken to the station for processing and later released.
