NEW YORK, NY – The New York Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an inappropriate incident with a child Thursday morning.

According to reports, at approximately 7:45 a.m., a 9-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man in front of 837 59th Street in Brooklyn, where he inappropriately touched her clothing.

The suspect is described as a male between 1.60 m and 1.70 m, with light skin and average build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

The girl was not physically injured. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
