Police have arrested three people in connection with a March shooting in rural central California that left four people dead and seven others injured

KING CITY, Calif. (AP) — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting by masked men at a party in rural central California in March that left four people dead and seven others injured, officials said Friday.

The three people were arrested on multiple gang charges, including a juvenile, Monterey County Sheriff Tina Nieto said Friday. They face four counts of murder, four counts of criminal conspiracy to commit murder and seven counts of attempted murder.

Officials said a group of masked men got out of a car, opened fire at an outdoor party in King’s City, a community of about 14,000 in the southern Salinas Valley, then sped away.

Police declined to say whether they had identified a motive or provide further details about the incident because the investigation is ongoing.
