Shots fired in early morning incident – ​​Pasadena Now

Early Saturday morning, Pasadena police officers responded to a 911 call about shots fired near 100 North Michigan Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 3:35 a.m. on July 20, according to police Lt. Andrea Perez.

Arriving officers spoke with witnesses who said there was a verbal argument between two unidentified groups at Union Street and Mar Vista Avenue, Perez said.

During the altercation, one person pulled out a firearm and fired three shots into the air. Both groups then dispersed and fled in different directions, Perez said.

Perez stated that officers found evidence of a shooting on the street, but no victims were found at the scene and no victims were reported to local hospitals.
