Police identify 35-year-old man killed in Jamaica Plain shooting

Boston police have identified the 35-year-old man who was shot and killed in Jamaica Plain on Sunday evening.

Officers found Andy Baez Manan at about 10:17 p.m. at the intersection of New Washington Street and Arborway, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, Boston police said in a press release.

The Boston man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 617-343-4470.
