In addition, police found that after learning of the allegations against Speer the day after the party in question, Speer’s girlfriend immediately took her own daughter, who was two years old at the time, to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital to be examined for sexual battery. Medical records indicate that the examination took place on May 26, 2013. The records also showed that the examination was requested due to an allegation that Speer, the child’s mother’s boyfriend, had touched a seven-year-old girl the night before. The records also showed that the mother lived with James Speer in Garfield but had no plans to return to the home. Based on the information provided, PVCH referred the case to police and DCF.
