Vit Krejci remains with the Atlanta Hawks.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, he agreed to a four-year, $10 million contract to return to the team from Georgia.

The Czech international joined Atlanta in December 2023 and played 22 regular season games, averaging 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists on 41% three-point shooting.

Quin Snyder gave him a chance and he proved his worth, so he’s coming back with a long-term contract.

Krejci began his professional career in 2017 with Spanish club Zaragoza and was selected 37th overall in the 2020 NBA draft. He spent another year in Spain before joining the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On September 22, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks and, oddly enough, was released less than a month later. Krejci tried his luck with the Minnesota Timberwolves but ended up in the G League.

He remained patient and persistent and eventually signed a stable contract with the Hawks, becoming a player development success story for Quin Snyder, Landry Fields and the Atlanta organization.
