Popular comedian died at the age of 54 after bizarre accident

Popular British comedian Tony Knight recently died in a bizarre accident.

The 54-year-old was attending the Rock & Cars Festival in France on June 7 when two branches fell, hitting and killing Knight. according to Entertainment Weekly. The website said four other people were injured in the accident, but they all survived.

“He was only 54 and having the time of his life,” said a GoFundMe campaign for his family. “He was fit, healthy, happy and had everything he needed.”

People Magazine reported that the incident “occurred in fine weather and there was no sign of wind or storm.”

The website said that in addition to his reputation as a comedian, Knight was also known for his skills as a dog trainer.

The GoFundMe page said that Knight was preparing a series of shows across the UK.

“We are deeply saddened that his life was taken in a tragic accident,” the post said. “An accident we are still trying to comprehend.”

It ended with the words: “Tony… we will love and miss you forever. Life will never be the same, but we will hold your beloved Hayley in our arms.”
