Two people were injured in the May 1 shooting on Britton Road in Greece. Police said at the time that someone fired shots into a house after several fights involving teenagers.

The US Marshall Fugitive Task Force arrested 27-year-old Eliezar Ortiz for his alleged role in what Greek police called an “argument that escalated into senseless violence.” He was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

Ortiz was arraigned in Greece Town Court and taken to the Monroe County Jail.
