21-year-old man arrested in connection with double murder in January

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A 21-year-old man suspected of committing a double murder in Fort Wayne in January was arrested Wednesday.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD), 21-year-old Dionee K. White is preliminarily charged with two counts of murder.

According to FWPD, a search warrant was executed in the 900 block of Francis Street on Wednesday, and White was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Allen County Jail.

The FWPD Homicide Unit was assisted in this investigation by the Vice/Drug Unit, Gang and Violent Crimes Unit, Emergency Services Team, U.S. Marshals, and the Allen County District Attorney’s Office.
