Prominent Boston lawyer guilty in fourth rape case brought against him

A prominent Boston lawyer has been found guilty of rape after being acquitted of similar charges in three other cases. Gary Zerola was found guilty Tuesday of raping a then-21-year-old four years ago. Zerola, who was previously listed as one of People magazine’s most eligible bachelors, had previously been acquitted in three other rape trials. Zerola will be sentenced on July 15.
