Shooting investigation underway in the 10500 block of Stone Canyon Road – DPD Beat

On June 20, 2024, at approximately 6:05 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 10500 block of Stone Canyon Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that when officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Kameron Lewis Pickens shot and lying on the ground. The Dallas Fire Department responded and Pickens died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and the case will be forwarded to a grand jury. The case is documented under case number 095182-2024.
