Pedro Rivera and Nathaniel Perez die in car crash at the intersection of Carpenter Road and Hatch Road

MODESTO, CA (June 18, 2024) — Pedro Rivera And Nathaniel Perez died Sunday morning in a car accident at the intersection of Carpenter Road and Hatch Road.

According to Modesto police, the fatal car crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, one of the men driving his 2008 Honda lost control of his vehicle. The Honda then struck an island at the intersection and a traffic light pole on the southeast corner.

Moments later, Modesto police and emergency responders arrived at the scene. However, 19-year-old Pedro Ruiz Rivera and 20-year-old Perez died. The Stanislaus County Coroner recently confirmed their identities.
