Holly Springs woman killed in rollover crash in Marshall County

MARSHALL CO., Mississippi (WMC) – A Holly Springs woman was killed in a rollover crash on Highway 311 in Marshall County Friday afternoon, the Mississippi Highway Patrol confirmed in a news release Monday.

MHP was dispatched to the scene at 3:48 p.m. Friday. The exact location of the wreckage has not yet been released.

According to authorities, 77-year-old Bertha W. Smith of Holly Springs was traveling north on Highway 311 when her 2004 Nissan left the roadway and rolled several times. According to MHP, Smith died at the scene of the accident.

No further injuries were reported.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating this accident.
