Ric Flair talks about restaurant incident: ‘I was wrong because I got mad’

As we previously reported, it was the Nature Boy caught screaming on camera at a Piesanos employee over an alleged interaction with the kitchen manager in the bathroom… and things got so tense that a guest offered to take the items outside.

Naitch joined “The MJ Morning Show on Q105” to give his side of things on Wednesday … and while he’s sorry for how things turned out, he explained that he also felt like he had to stand up for himself.

“It just escalated and I was wrong to get angry, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position,” Flair said on the radio show.

Flair also backpedaled on his scathing review of the restaurant…and admitted he had enjoyed his time and food there before things went wrong.

“I was wrong because I lost my temper,” he added. “When I feel like I’m in a situation where I’m uncomfortable and suddenly everything falls apart, I’m upset.”

“I was wrong when I got upset. I probably should have just walked out the door but it surprised me so much because we had a wonderful time. Then suddenly…someone in her kitchen said I did it.” Something’s wrong in the bathroom and there’s no one there except him and me.

As for the narrative that alcohol had anything to do with it, Flair denied being drunk or drunk… and said he only drank Michelob Ultras and “probably” two mixed drinks.
