Police investigate suspected shooting in Dayton

Police are investigating a reported shooting in Dayton early Sunday morning.

At approximately 2:24 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the 1900 block of North Main Street for a report of a shooting.

A dispatcher with the Montgomery County Regional Operations Center confirmed that emergency responders were on scene investigating a reported shooting.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was shot or how seriously injured the person was.

Traffic on the emergency radio indicated that at least one person was hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
