Cape Coast Teaching Hospital suspends haemodialysis services for maintenance

The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has announced the temporary suspension of haemodialysis services at its facility.

According to the health facility, this decision is intended to enable maintenance work to be carried out and thus ensure that only high-quality services are provided.

This information was contained in a press release signed by Public Relations Officer Fred Nyankah.

“We hereby respectfully inform our valued customers and the public of the temporary suspension of haemodialysis services at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. This has become necessary due to some quality issues that arose last week in the course of our regular operations,” the press release dated June 15 reads.

The hospital also stated: “We understand how important this service is in our catchment area and the challenges this suspension poses for our patients and the public. Therefore, we sincerely regret this suspension of services.”

Meanwhile, the hospital said it was determined to ensure “a rapid resumption of operations, possibly before the end of next week.”
