SOUTH OF I-10 THERE ARE STILL GALLIANO STORMS, ABOUT A 30% CHANCE. 20% CHANCE HERE IN NEW NEW ORLEANS. TOMORROW WE’LL BE UP TO 93. CONSIDER THE HUMIDITY. Feels like 105, but there are the orange air quality warnings for SLIDELL, SAINT TAMMANY and ORLEANS PARISH in the metro for Thursday. Even hotter, again only a slight chance of a storm here south of I-10. Temperatures near 96 degrees could feel like 105, 106 degrees, maybe 108 degrees. It’s the first impact day, and then Saturday, even hotter. Some could approach 100 degrees. Our next impact day for that heat is here. So that’s the three impact days for air quality. Then the heat comes, and we’ll continue to track and monitor the storms. The good news again is that the storm will not have a direct impact on landfall.
