Kyle Busch reacted Sunday night after his incident with Ross Chastain during the final lap of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.

Busch and Chastain were battling for fifth place during the final lap of the NASCAR Cup Series race. The two were in the final sprint zone on the race track and Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing collided with Busch’s No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing. Busch spun sideways after the collision.

Busch rallied but still only finished the race in twelfth place, while Chastain secured fifth place.

After the race, Busch comments on the events.

“A few guys had better tires than us at the end of the race, but we were having a good day. Unfortunately, one of those guys drove into our car on the last lap and ruined our day. It’s frustrating not to get the result we deserved,” Busch said afterwards.

Chastain got the result he wanted, while Busch did not get the result he felt he deserved.
