OTC adds two suspension bushing sets for heavy-duty vehicles

OTC has released two new suspension bushing tool kits for vehicle P&I of single and double wrap heavy duty suspension bushings – Suspension Bushing Kit with Pump and Suspension Bushing Adapter Kit.

OTC says both tool kits replace worn, rusted and frozen heavy-duty suspension bushings faster and easier without risking heat or other damage because they offer a 25-ton capacity. The company says each kit saves hours on every job by making quick work of repairing and fixing swivel and D-pin bushings.

OTC’s latest suspension bushing tool kits include:

• 4247-FR Suspension Bushing Kit with Pump: Includes air/hydraulic pump, 25 ton hydraulic cylinder, hose with couplers, complete puller legs/plates and double coil leaf spring adapter kit.
• 4254-FR Suspension Bushing Adapter Kit: For use with OTC service kits; 4247, 4275, 4261 or 4263 with 4106A 25 ton ram.

Each suspension bushing kit includes Hendrickson rear suspension bushings, including Primaax EX, Comfort Air and FCCC V-Ride pivot and D-pin suspension bushings, and Freightliner rear suspension bushings, including double and single wrap FAS II Airliner rear suspension bushings. Both also include centering adapters to align the tool and bushing for a clean installation, OTC says.
