Warm weekend before much-needed rain – 104.5 WOKV

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Boy, is it hot again.

Meteorologist Corey Simma of First Alert Weather said storm threats are back to a minimum today, with your best chance of rain if you live near or south of I-10.

It will be very hot this weekend – for some sports temperatures could reach almost 38 degrees on Sunday.

On Monday and Tuesday it will still feel like 38 degrees.

A few storms will form on Tuesday, and the chances of more storms will increase with each subsequent day.

Moisture will rise from the Gulf of Mexico, causing heavy rainfall in some areas.

The temperatures are falling, but only to over 30 to under 35 degrees. It remains very humid.

There are no active storms and no problem areas in the tropics.
