Investigation underway after man injured in early morning shooting on Dupont Street

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KSLA) – Shreveport Police responded to reports of a shooting on Wednesday, June 5, at approximately 3:47 a.m.

The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Dupont Street.

Officials say a man was shot in the wrist and leg. He was transported to a local hospital by the Shreveport Fire Department. The incident is currently under investigation.
