Chase ends with an arrest in northern Oklahoma City

A shooting in northwest Oklahoma City led to a chase that ended with a single arrest, police said.

Oklahoma City police said they responded to a shooting near North Western Avenue and Northwest 122nd Street and transported a victim to the hospital in a private vehicle.

OCPD said the suspect fled the scene, but officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle leaving the area and began pursuit.

According to OCPD, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called in to assist, with OHP ultimately conducting a tactical maneuver to end the pursuit near Northwest 63rd Street and Interstate 235.

The OCPD said the driver is in custody, but there was no information on the victim’s condition or which hospital he was taken to.
