Man from Branson, Missouri, killed in shooting in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (KY3) – The St. Louis Police Department is working with Branson police following a fatal shooting.

On Sunday morning, police were called to downtown Washington and 16th Streets because a man had been shot in the head. The St. Louis Police Chief said the victim was in his 50s, but his identity was not released.

A suspect, also from Branson, is in custody.

Our Gray station, KMOV, reports that the shooting was one of ten over the weekend. Seventeen victims were injured and three of them were killed. These shootings stretched from South City to North City.
