Five Georgia Southern University students killed in traffic accident on I-16

The Georgia Southern University campus was rocked Wednesday after an early morning crash left five students dead and two others injured. In a heartfelt message to the university community Wednesday afternoon, President Dr. Brooks Keel acknowledged the tragic incident on Interstate 16 in Bryan County. “The loss of a student, especially in a tragic way, is especially painful,” Keel wrote in his message.
