Man dies after falling into water while night fishing on Jacksonville’s north side – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a man is dead after he was found unconscious in the water off Heckscher Drive.

Police said Jacksonville Fire Department personnel pulled a man in distress from the water at around 10:26 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
