Drew Gordon died in a car accident at the age of 33

Former professional player and brother of Aaron Gordon, Drew Gordon, died at the age of 33 in a car accident in Portland.

He played in college for UCLA and the New Mexico Lobos, but was not selected in the 2012 NBA Draft and decided to go abroad, signing with Partizan of the EuroLeague, where he played alongside Nikola Milutinov, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Davis Bertans, among others.

From then on, he also played for Dinamo Sassari, Rytas Vilnius, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Avtodor Saratov, Lokomotiv Kuban, Zielona Gora and other teams in Europe. In the 2014–15 NBA season, he played 9 games for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Condolences were sent to his family, including his brother Aaron, from the basketball community around the world.
