Woman found dead in bayou in Clear Lake

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a possible alligator attack after a woman was found dead near a bayou in Clear Lake Tuesday morning.

It happened near Horsepen Bayou, not far from the woman’s home on Brook Forest Drive near El Dorado Boulevard.

Police said the victim’s husband reported her missing early Tuesday morning after she went for a walk late Monday night and never returned.

Officials found her remains near the bayou.
