Woman sexually harassed outside Salisbury Guildhall

The suspect is said to have made lewd comments to other people, including young girls, before hugging a woman and touching her breasts without her consent.

This alleged attack occurred outside Salisbury Town Hall on April 12 at around 3pm. Investigating police officers have asked witnesses to come forward.

A man in his thirties was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse and released on bail.

He was described as white and was wearing a black top, beige cargo pants and a black beanie hat on the day in question.

Local detective Lacey, from the Wiltshire South Volume Crime Team, said: “The man was believed to be drunk and was making sexual comments and gestures to numerous people.”

“If you were approached by this man, we would like to hear from you as we continue to investigate what happened.”
