Fort Myers police investigate stabbing in Dunbar

DUNBAR, Fla. – Fort Myers police surrounded a home Monday night in search of a stabbing suspect.

Police searched a home on the corner of Second and High Streets in Dunbar, a spokesman said. They say the suspect is connected to the stabbing of a woman.

However, they found that the suspect was not in the house, but knew who he was.

The woman suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. It is not known if this was a domestic incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
