1 dead after accident on Gulf Freeway in La Marque

LA MARQUE, Texas – One person is now dead after being involved in an accident on the Gulf Freeway in the early hours of Monday morning.

According to TranStar, the accident was reported around 1:27 a.m. on IH-45 at the corner of FM-519/Main.

Galveston County authorities confirmed the death but did not provide any information about who died on the road.

The roads were reopened at 7:25 a.m.
