Albany police investigate shooting on 2nd Avenue

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) — Albany police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning on Second Avenue in Albany. Officers arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. and reported finding a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

According to police, the victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Albany Criminal Investigation at (518) 462-8039.
