Arrest warrants issued after vandalism incident involving “senior prank” in Lufkin ISD

LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) – Arrest warrants have been issued after a “senior citizen prank” went too far last Thursday.

Longview High School graduates are not allowed to attend graduation after “graduation prank”

Lufkin ISD police issued arrest warrants for five high school seniors who allegedly vandalized the school campus after school hours and barred the students from attending the graduation ceremony Thursday night.

“Lufkin ISD will not tolerate this type of behavior that results in the destruction of public property and disrespect for staff, other students and the learning environment of our campuses,” Lufkin ISD said. “Parents need to talk to their children about the fact that these pranks can result in academic consequences, criminal charges and damages.”

A Similar vandalism incident with “senior prank” took place in Longview this year, and the students involved were not allowed to attend the graduation ceremony.
