First Alert Weather: A pleasant end to the weekend

A high pressure system will keep conditions generally fair and dry for the remainder of the weekend. Temperatures will be pleasant, with readings falling into the 50s overnight and rising to the 70s on Sunday (cooler near Lake Ontario). This “high” will slowly move east of Western New York over the coming days, creating a more southerly breeze. This change in wind direction should bring significantly warmer weather with increasing humidity. As a result, Monday through Wednesday will feel more like summer with the warmest weather of the season expected.

Saturday evening, look for patchy clouds and some valley fog developing later tonight. Low temperatures will be in the upper 50s. On Sunday, expect some clouds and fog early in the morning, then around midday the sun returns and the mercury rises to the mid 70s (cooler lakeshore). Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny and much warmer as temperatures climb into the low to mid 80s.
