Union County man arrested after crashing his pickup truck in a yard

(Creston) A Union County man is facing DUI charges after crashing his pickup truck in a Creston yard.

According to Creston Police, the accident occurred at 4:12 a.m. this morning at Cherry Street and Summit. Following the investigation, the officer arrested 21-year-old Andrew Frederick Weis for OWI.

Authorities allege Wies drove a 2013 Chevy pickup truck recklessly through a yard at 500 N. Cherry St., struck a tree, backed up and struck another tree. Weis suffered minor injuries. Officers transported him to the Union County Law Enforcement Center. She was also charged with operating a reckless, erratic and negligent vehicle.
