According to Michigan State Police, an Ishpeming man was arrested for child sexual abuse.

Police said an investigation was launched when it became known that 57-year-old Timothy Romback was viewing files containing sexually abusive material for children on the Internet.

During a search of his apartment, digital evidence was seized.

Romback was charged with ten counts of sexual abuse of children (serious nature) and ten counts of using a computer to commit crimes.

Romback was arraigned on July 22.

If convicted, Romback faces up to 25 years in prison for the sexual abuse of children (aggravated) and 20 years in prison for using a computer to commit a crime.
