Police investigate alarm at Attorney General’s building in Hartford

HARTFORD – Police are investigating the triggering of a security alarm Sunday at a building that houses several state offices, officials said.

Connecticut State Police said Troop H responded to a security alarm at the State Office Building at 165 Capitol Ave. at 5:11 p.m. They said Hartford police are assisting with the investigation and the building manager has been notified.

Police said the investigation was still in its early stages and no further information was available.

In particular, the Office of the Attorney General and the Secretary of State are located at 165 Capitol Ave.
