Sexist attacks on Kamala Harris harm Republicans

Dear Republicans, if you want to win in November, stop calling the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee a “whore.”

Bipartisan suburban women who will play a significant role in the presidential election and in congressional and state legislature seats in New Hampshire and swing states across the country are not inclined to vote for the party that constantly calls women whores.

I wrote about this four years ago when Trump was running for re-election and his supporters thought “Joe and the Hoe” was a cheap rallying cry. And you know what? That obviously didn’t work. It didn’t get people to vote for lower ticket voters either, and we’re seeing the results.

We are in a unique time in American history. It seems like we have historic moments every week. Personally, I would love to live in a time where people struggle with what to write about in the history books of this era. But that’s the way it is.
